Reflection #5

My motivation right now pretty good right now. Nothing really can bring me down, but there some things that can. Even though my grades my might be good there border line to failing i think not sure on that. Slacking off at school taking naps talking to other people could be some of my down falls. In back of my head there is a little voice saying finish or end up like your brothers. They both went to college but ending up dropping out of college cause they would rather work and move up in the profession. My oldest brother is a master tech at Lexus dealership and my middle brother is a Parts manager at Hyundai dealership. The jobs that they have are not bad at all they make money and make it rain on special occasions. They push me to go to college and actually finish and not end up like them and get a real good job. Just getting an education would satisfy them and my family. Hopefully having studying groups more often with starr help with the vocabulary test and other stuff. getting enough sleep is a great motivation for me doing better in class it migh tbe strange but its true. Going at not doing nothing for natrual but im getting the habit of not doing it anymore my mom makes sure of it. The momentum is not losing at all but hanging cause of the things I just said in this blog. Hopefully everyine in the class hasn't lost the momentum of the motivation since the semsmester and fall throught out the end of the second half of the semster.

GOALS!

Dear Sammy,

One long Major goal for me was to get good grades to get of Fullerton college and transfer to Cal Poly Pomona as quickly as I can. Also to get healthier in my life in the future. Short term goals was to spend less money and to save it as much I could possible. I did it I'm at Cal Poly Pomona and the campus looks so nice. Its so huge compare to Fullerton college and it still has some buildings from the first time it was built. It better than I could ever imagine in my head. Getting here was diffcult getting the grade for it and the classes. Seeing the consuler was very important making sure Iwas on track. The restaurant kitchen smells good everything time I walk past to get to my agriculture classes. The farm looks like an ranch in the Midwest but smaller of course. It feels allot different the experience and the people some that are there talk with an accent. Also getting healthier was accomplish i could run longer and lift heavier weights at the gym. I got tone and cut so you can see my muscles when we go the beach in the spring and the summer. People ask me if i could be there personal trainer so they can be big and strong like me. Hitting the gym everyday run, swim, and ride bike for miles got me stornger. Eating the foods that are very important to build the muscle and burn the fat. Maybe ill become star and be in a show like the "Jersey Shore" . Saving money was a tough one to manage. I had to save very cent. The hard part was buying books for college. The college would always come with new edition and new requirements for diplomas. I had to cut back on trips with my homies going snowboarding but I would always end up going. I got a new car from Chevy the Volt it an electric car so it cut back from using gas. The gas price are setting new high records very month. Its very flashy we will cruise up and down PCH every weekend casue I wont have to worry about gas.  Hopefully you follow up and haved accomplish your goals and write me about it.
Sincerely,
Moses lara

The Human Heart

The important of making a good war story is when it strikes you in the heart. The story that hit me the most was when Rat Kiley went up to the baby water buffalo and shot it in the knee. That was just the beginning of the horrible act against the animal. Rat kept on shooting it in different area the nose, ear, the hump on its back and the buffalo didn't even make a sound, it kept on going down and up. Later on Rat went automatic and started shooting everywhere on its body. Eventually it went down and didn't get up anymore it eyes were enormous and black. Then Rat was crying and went off running. Everybody gather around the dead baby water buffalo one of them kicked it was still alive but barely just in the eyes.  They hauled it and threw him in the village well. That story got to me cause I'm an animal person, not like PETA, but i like animals. I took care of some in High School at the Fullerton Farm. I had three steers and two lambs in the four years that I went there. I was reading that part and it got me mad and felt sad for the baby water buffalo cause it was defenseless and that no one in the group did nothing  to help. What Rat whispered to the baby water buffalo i want to know and wanting to know why was he crying. Maybe realizing what he had done to the poor animal or for his friend dieing I want really what to so if any one know tell me.At least he could have done it quick and painless. In the back of the head or slice the throat like they do when they butcher an animal for meat. They dumped the corpse in the village well and not even eating whats left of the animal for a good source of protein and vitamins for their body. I could ask Tim O'Brien in person one day well have to wait and see.
